Review on Fenchurch Restaurant at Sky Garden
Fenchurch Restaurant is located on level 37 of London's Sky Garden at the top of the iconic 'Walkie-Talkie' building in the City, and just a few minutes walk from Monument tube station. An elegant dining room set beneath a stunning glass roof, it's smartly decked out in colours of black, brown and gold affording diners panoramic views across the capital.
The kitchen delivers a contemporary British menu using the finest seasonal ingredients. Roast Orkney scallop, first Italian peas, dulse seaweed and Lilliput capers starts the ball rolling before moving on to the likes of roast guinea fowl, Bianchetti truffle spätzle, speck ham and cauliflower or for fish fans there's lemon and thyme crusted halibut, Jerusalem artichoke and white polenta. For a sweet tooth finale enjoy blueberry, violet and lemon pavlova, otherwise opt for a selection of Neal's Yard cheeses paired with house chutney, grapes and oatcakes.
A swanky brushed-metal bar serves an extensive range of fine wines and carefully crafted cocktails.
