Review on Kairiku

Kairiku is one of two restaurants set within the Sa Creu Nova hotel in the traditional town of Campos, just 8 kilometres from the famous Es Trenc beach and salt mines, and 25 minutes from the Son Sant Joan airport. Located in the old winery of the beautifully refurbished hotel, Kairku is a Japanese Omakase restaurant which means, "I trust in you", where the diners allow the chef to surprise them with his menu. Seating just 10 guests on a single wooden table, the intimate room has a pared back décor with a small open kitchen.

Taking the helm of the kitchen is Argentinean chef Cesar León, who daily selects the finest produce from the market for a nine course menu, accompanied by a special selection of drinks and premium sakes to complement the exquisitely presented dishes. Among the delights on offer you will experience a miso ramen soup, niguiris, futomaki, and sashimi and maybe finishing with a delicious dessert of cherry ice cream with plum liquor, cherry halves and caramelised shiso.
