Review on The Ivy Temple Row
The latest incarnation from Caprice Holdings is The Ivy Temple Row, located at the top end of bustling Temple Row in a former Louis Vuitton boutique, it has a prime position overlooking St Philip's Cathedral. The 7,000 sq ft space of this imposing building has been given a sumptuous makeover by acclaimed designer Martin Brudnizki in a similar style to its siblings, featuring their signature palette of green with striking burnt orange banquettes and colourful vintage prints inspired by the local heritage adorning the walls.
Executive Chef Sean Burbidge has created a crowd-pleasing menu that straddles breakfast, lunch and dinner and everything in between. Peruse the all day menu and you might opt for marinated yellowfin tuna with citrus ponzu dressing and wasabi mayonnaise with chilli and coriander before moving on to a main course of roasted pork cutlet with cep butter, creamed potato and baked apple. Close the show with desserts like chocolate bombe, melting chocolate bombe with a vanilla ice cream and honeycomb centre with hot salted caramel sauce or a classic crème brûlée.
The wine list encompasses all the major wine growing regions around the globe as well as signature cocktails.
