14 Hills is the latest addition to the ever-expanding D&D London group of restaurants, aptly named as it's set on the 14th floor of the 120 Fenchurch Street skyscraper in the centre of the City's square mile. Sitting one floor below the buildings popular roof garden which opened free to the public in February 2019, the restaurant's stunning interiors have been designed by the award winning Robert Angell Design International.

Affording commanding views across London's skyline, the 9,000 square foot space is an oasis of natural splendour. Filled with trees and plants including philodendrons, fiddle tree figs and alocasia palms, as well as an overhead canopy of greenery decorating three large pergolas, creating a gorgeous living indoor garden.

Leading the kitchen brigade is Executive Chef Thomas Piat, who joins the restaurant from Hélène Darroze's latest opening JOíA in Paris, having previously held the position of Executive Chef at Daniel Boulud's Bar Boulud. Making excellent use of impeccable British produce, he presents a modern British menu with French influences. Starters herald dishes in the shape of London oak smoked salmon, keta roe, buckwheat blini and condiments or beef tartare, Black Angus fillet, pickles and game chips. Main courses embrace turbot roasted on the bone with cuttle fish risotto and beurre blanc or from the land opt for the sharing venison roast saddle, venison pie, bone marrow, long pepper and whisky sauce. There's plenty of temptation when it comes to desserts, witness a chocolate tart paired with whisky fruits, nuts and spice or Bramley apple and blackberry pie served with clotted cream.

There's an extensive wine list with plenty of options available by the glass, as well as signature cocktails like the Queen Mary, Absolut Peppar vodka, porcini mushroom liquor, fresh lemon, Turner Hardy tomato juice and house spices.
