Review on Tapestry Restaurant, Norwood Hall
Built in 1887 on the site of the fifteenth-century Pitfodels Castle, this fine Victorian mansion just outside the city now combines oak staircases, stained glass windows and leather-clad walls with up-to-the minute business and conference facilities.
Lunches are served in the Georgian Bar, but the main event is dinner in the oak-panelled Tapestry Restaurant. Typical dishes might include confit of duck and pear terrine, shellfish linguine with lobster, langoustines and mussels, and lemon tart with citrus sorbet.
