The Hopfengarten which is in the Weitmar district of Bochum offers diners a selection of Westphalian cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean influences. On the menu you will find, for example, lamb chops served with creamy kohlrabi, chorizo bread dumplings with garlic and cinnamon flavoured sauce and pasta served with shrimps and peanut tandoori sauce. The Bierstube offers a more down-to-earth style of cuisine. The beer garden is open in the summer. This is a cosy place to sit and relax even when the weather is not quite so warm.
