Review on Nailers Arms
The Nailers Arms is a traditional country pub that is as much a favourite with locals propping the bar with an ale as it is with diners in the adjoining modern restaurant. Harking back to 1780 when the building housed a nail making workshop, The Nailers Arms of today has been tastefully and sensitively designed with up-to-date decor and furnishings to offer 21st century comfort, but not at the expense of the pub's character.
The restaurant is thoroughly contemporary in style, from the starkly contrasted decor that combines pastel shades with bold and vibrant colours, to the modern continental cuisine. Dishes are satisfying, attractively presented and make effective use of well-sourced ingredients. Booking is advisable.
