Gasthof Emmenhof is located just a short train ride from Bern in the small town of Burgdof. This has been a family-run business since 1910 and current owners Margit and Werner Schürchwners took over from his parents in 1985, he heads the kitchen while she is in charge of the charming service. Emmenhof is divided into two rooms, the gourmet restaurant where Werner serves his accomplished Michelin starred modern French cuisine and the informal Gastube where you can enjoy local specialities. There is a notable wine list with an excellent selection from the Rhone and Burgundy regions.
