Review on Ca Na Toneta
Without loosing any of its rustic charm, Ca Na Toneta is gleaming after a complete refurbishment in 2014 and on top of that, the food served here just gets better and better. It really is one of Mallorca's hidden treasures, a delightful family restaurant sitting at the foot of the mountains where two sisters, Maria and Teresa Solivellas run Ca Na Toneta with a passion for organically grown produce, much of which comes from their own gardens. They even make their own olive oil with their home grown olives.
Open for dinner in the summer and lunch in the winter you can sit inside in the cosy split level restaurant or choose to sit on the rear terrace in the dapple shade of a grape vine. A sensibly priced, six course tasting menu changes every week and encompasses local meats, fish from Alcudia and whatever is available from the local area. Wines come from small, local wineries.
