Review on Sa Canova
A thoroughly family affair, Sa Canova in the rural town of Campos has been run by the Alomar-Mascaró family for more than 20 years and at the stoves, Jerónima Mascaró-Pons presides and plies her trade producing traditional Mallorcan cuisine with her distinctive modern twist, using family grown seasonal produce.
Another family member will take your order from a menu which might feature, perhaps, tumbet (vegetable casserole) and trampó (Mallorcan salad), pork wrapped in cabbage, grilled pork with mushrooms, home-made chicken croquettes or paellas. Desserts are all home-made and the wine list has some unexpected Mallorcan discoveries.
