Review on Casa Perico
Casa Perico, which was founded in 1942, is located in the emblematic calle Ballesta in the centre of Madrid and serves its distinguished clientele some of the most traditional Madrid fare available anywhere in the capital. The menu uses traditional descriptions for many of its dishes such as Chulaponas de cordero (Madrileño lamb chops), andarines de pollo (leg of chicken) or papas revolconas (scrambled potatoes) and the restaurant has also received the Casa de la Cuchara award for its range of soups and stews offered every day. Casa Perico is run by the owner's family, which is reflected in the warm and friendly atmosphere.
