Review on Ojala
Ojalá is in the heart of Madrid's Malasaña district. Its decoration can only be summed up as radical, with vibrant and bright walls and lighting that changes colour to create an ambience that can alter as the day and night progress and which is often evocative of natural landscapes. Walls may be tinged an intense red when the sun goes down, fading to a light yellow on a winter's morning. The food at Ojalá focuses on tapas, with sharing plates that take inspiration from flavours around the world. Specialities include wild boar glazed with honey ali-oli and sobresada, while the special menu of cocktails and gin & tonics always ensures an enjoyable end to any evening.
