Review on Mint Leaf Lounge
The Mint Leaf Lounge occupies a converted banking hall in the heart of the City, this is the livewire offshoot of the highly rated Mint Leaf in Haymarket. The classic interior has been impressively transformed with a mezzanine level Champagne and cocktail bar dispensing around 20 sorts of fizz plus an heap of trendy creations from Martinis upwards.
The kitchen delivers a range of exquisite contemporary Indian specialities with a strong showing of seafood: char-grilled lobster tails are infused with Goan spices, while jumbo prawns are marinated with roast garlic and chilli yoghurt. Elsewhere, expect fine meat dishes including baby rack of lamb marinated with saffron and vetiver root. There are also private dining facilities, plus a chef's table.
