Review on Cornfields Restaurant & Hotel
When Grahame Goodhew and Janet Abbott opened Cornfields Restaurant in July 1995 their mission statement was to create the kind of restaurant that we would like to eat in. Freshly prepared food from local producers where possible, cooked to order at sensible prices in an atmosphere that would complement our food.
After nine years they have maintained this objective to the highest standard. All food is freshly prepared having been sourced from local suppliers on a seasonal basis. Vegetarians are well catered for at Cornfields.
There are two dining rooms the larger of which opens on to a private enclosed garden. The whole ambiance of Cornfields is very relaxed and unpretentious.
