Lunch in The Crystal Deck is a light affair and follows a 3 course, bargain fixed price 'Fabulous Favourites' menu with starters like tomato soup with basil or goat cheese salad. Mains could include tempura fish and chips or Thai curry followed by a choice of home-made desserts. Sunday sees a traditional 'Sunday Lunch' menu with roast beef and Yorkshire pudding.

Things move up a gear in the evening with the 'Gourmet Menu' which is based around well-chosen regional ingredients with an Asian twist. Prawns in Japanese breadcrumbs, served with Chinese salad, soya and a diakon radish puree may precede rack of lamb served with couscous and an aroma of roses; a spicy sweet potato puree and a mint and jasmine foam. A chocolate cone filled with mint mouse and served with a ginger sorbet may round things off.

Wine buffs are also in for a treat. The list is global although Europe figures prominently and it's worth looking for the clutch of wines from Mallorca including Miquel Gelabert, BiniGrau, Macia Batle and Aia.
