Review on Osteria del Portico

A table in the open-air courtyard amid flowers and shades of deep country green is the great summertime attraction at this long-running Italian restaurant hidden away through an arched gateway. It’s a slice of Mediterranean rusticity a stone’s throw from the hum of the traffic.

The kitchen makes its own pizzas from scratch, serves robust main courses with potatoes and stuffs ravioli with creamy autumnal pumpkin. There are also luscious ice creams to finish.
