The Restaurant Lounge Mayura is in the heart of Barcelona's Eixample district. This highly evocative setting is ideal for dinner, cocktails or just a drink, with its fusion of attractive Indian and Mediterranean flavours in a serene and intimate space. Mayura has been designed using natural elements such as water, wood, bamboo, stone and silk. This tranquil place takes visitors away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the luxurious decoration creates a harmonious mix of intimacy and refinement. All of the dishes are made from the freshest ingredients from around the world, with Mediterranean and Indian flavours. The menu has something for everyone, from simple clean flavours through to highly spiced dishes. Mayura Barcelona also has a private VIP area, an oasis of luxury set back from the main dining room, surrounded by fountains with floating candles and flowers. The ambience is highly sensual and reminiscent of Indian royalty. On Thursdays clients can experience the rhythm and sensations of its Bollywood Nights ? colourful parties of Indian culture with DJ Badal spinning the sounds of Bhangra and Bollywood. The evening kicks off between 11-11.30 pm, followed by a mini dance workshop to allow visitors to learn the steps of the Bollywood dance. On Sundays, Mayura offers a very special show called Belly vs Bollywood featuring the famous belly-dancing in a wonderful mix of Bollywood Night styles.
