Review on Nice Spice

Nice Spice is an Indo-Pakistani restaurant in the Poble Nou district in Barcelona. Chef Qamar Chaudry and his team, all from the province of Punjab in Pakistan, offer dishes that are typical of this region. The open kitchen, which includes a tandoor oven, prepares dishes to order such as vegetable samosas, chicken pakora, main courses such as the ever popular chicken tikka massala or auchar gosht (medium-spiced lamb with curry sauce, hot green peppers and tomato) accompanied by naan bread freshly baked in the tandoor, or biryani rice made to Punjabi recipes. Kulfi is just one highlight on the dessert menu. Indian drinks are also available, such as Cobra beer, mango lassi or a Kashmir (pistachio, fruit syrup, milk or yoghurt).
