Review on Il Pagliaccio
Il Pagliaccio translates to 'The Clown' in English, and this well-renowned Fulham restaurant is certainly larger than life. Famed for its informal atmosphere, beautiful Italian waitresses and genuine Italian passion (not to mention the musical ability of its staff), Il Pagliaccio brings a vibrant slice of Mediterranean culture to South West London.
The menu is very faithful to traditional Mezzogiorno recipes, with a large selection of unusual meat and fish dishes (such as fresh char grilled swordfish steak) accompanying the usually pizza and pasta. Not to be missed is the dessert menu which boasts a particularly fine Tiramisu. This is accompanied by a comprehensive wine list which offers an impressive selection of Italian reds and whites.
