Review on Casa Jacinto
Established in 1982 by Jacinto Esteban and his wife Marcela, Casa Jacinto is a two story, majestic building that stands proud in Genóva, just 4 km from Palma and with commanding views over the city and the surrounding countryside.
Traditional Mallorcan cooking is the name of the game but it's the char grilled meats from the wood fire that draws the crowds. Expect mixed grill Jacinto special, rabbit, quail, pork with cabbage, sirloin steak, shoulder of suckling lamb and T-bone steak Cebon. There's fish a plenty from the grill as well as hearty starters such as kebabs, king size asparagus and pineapple cocktail with king prawns.
The wine list is worthy of special mention for its 200 plus bins and sensible pricing.
