Once full of steel works, coal mines and heavy engineering, Lanarkshire is proud of its industrial past which is displayed in places like Summerlee Heritage Park in Coatbridge, the David Livingstone Centre in Blantyre and the Motherwell Heritage Centre, which tells the story of North Lanarkshire.
