Review on Ca'n Costa Alcudia
Set within the walls of the ancient town of Alcudia, Ca'n Costa is a family run restaurant that has become famous for its traditional Mallorcan recipes served since opening in 1983. Log fires in winter, high ceilings, family antiques and historical museum pieces on display create the ambience inside while the courtyard patio is simply delightful, a hidden shady oasis for a hot day in Alcudia.
Fresh fish from the port might be served as cod gratin with garlic and honey or 'Bacalao' which is cod 'Mallorcan Style'. Look out for the BBQ where you may find grilled rabbit or even suckling pig and at least on one visit try Ca'n Costa's seafood paella. Home made desserts include their famous 'Gato' cake with ice cream and almonds.
