Review on Tate Modern Restaurant at The Blavatnik Building
Whether you have been admiring the contemporary artwork in the gallery, had a hard morning in the office or fancy chilling out during the afternoon, the restaurant high up on Level 9 in The Blavatnik Building is sure to be a big hit boasting some of the finest views in the capital.
Menus are seasonal and are based on top-notch ingredients (organic where possible). The choice ranges from heartwarming favourites like battered Cornish haddock and chips or Suffolk chicken breast with parsley sauce to more contemporary ideas including diver-caught scallops with caramelised endive and truffle butter or roast Gressingham duck breast with balsamic figs and potato pancake, followed by desserts such as pomegranate granita or white chocolate and coffee torte.
There's an award-winning wine list that focuses on the New World and Europe's up-and-coming regions.
