Review on P.J. Clarke's DC
Legendary NYC saloon P.J. Clarke's is coming to town. The former Olives quarters near the White House are being remodeled into a handsome pub with red-and-white-checkered tablecloths, vintage chandeliers, a huge old-school bar and a semi-open kitchen. When it opens, expect the likes of classic burgers and steaks, along with locally sourced seafood and sides. An eye-popping solarium that once graced Walt Disney's estate encloses a stairway that leads down to Sidecar, a semi-private (nonmembers welcome if space is available) dining room. -- 'Politics will never be the same again.'
