Review on Apicius

Apicius restaurant is set in a beautiful 18th century mansion in a magnificent park close to the famous Champs Elysées. Jean-Pierre Vigato is the chef and owner of this upscale restaurant that has been awarded two Michelin stars. Vigato is a self-taught chef who regularly visits the markets himself to source the very best of local produce.

The restaurant is situated on the ground floors and consists of a number of rooms that exudes warmth and and elegance. The cuisine is rich and inventive and combines the very best of the French classics with modern creative influences. Witness, foie gras and roasted duck with black pepper or foie gras pan-fried with black radish confit and tempting desserts such as chocolate soufflé with chantilly cream. Service is impeccable and there is a superb wine cellar boasting 55,000 bottles of pretty respectable stuff.
