Review on Uhlandstube
The Uhlandstube is at the Hotel Krone in Tübingen near Stuttgart. Its overriding priority is to serve fresh, international cuisine. Hotel residents and locals alike can choose from numerous menu suggestions or order à la carte. The restaurant offers a range of culinary creations such as truffled salsify soup with Scottish salmon, turbot cutlet with pea and mint foam, veal fillet with Armagnac sauce and hand-grated spaetzle. Desserts include caramelised pineapple with coconut ice-cream and rum-espuma. The restaurant has both an international and local feel and guests can enjoy a glass of fine wine from the original vaults which keep the wine at just the right temperature. The Uhlandstube also has a culinary calendar which offers a range of events throughout the year.
