Catalan is a well established Spanish restaurant located in the heart of Warwick on Jury Street, just five minutes drive from the rail station. Decked out in a striking palette of red and contrasting cream with contemporary artwork displayed on the walls, it has a lively and informal atmosphere. Brimming with Mediterranean charm it has occasional live music and a garden area for al fresco dining during the summer months.

The kitchen serves an excellent range of tasty tapas as well as Mediterranean dishes using first-class ingredients imported directly from Spain. Expect the likes of grilled sardines with olive oil and lemon or alitas de pollo, chicken wings in a mildly spiced marinade with herbs and aioli amongst the starters. Main courses feature their signature fish stew of hake, mussels when in season, calamari, white beans in a fish stock with tomato and white wine sauce or beef medallions in a creamy peppercorn sauce. To finish there's homemade lemon tart with raspberry sorbet or fresh figs glazed with cinnamon sugar, paired with Galliano infused mascarpone.

Service is warm and attentive and there's a thoughtfully chosen wine list to complement the dishes.
