Review on Smith & Wollensky London
Smith & Wollensky, an award winning collection of steak houses established in 1977 have brought the successful formula to London, their first outpost outside of the US. Opening its doors in June 2015, it's located on the ground floor of the Art Deco Grade II listed Adelphi building on John Adam Street, just a stone's throw from the Strand. Spread over two floors with two full dining bars, two main dining areas and several private event rooms, it has been designed by the acclaimed Martin Brudinzki Design Studio and Acacia Consulting. The décor reflects the classic green and white of the Smith & Wollensky brand, featuring traditional characteristics to complement the history of the building.
The kitchen is complete with a full butcher shop and dry aging room, where imported prime USDA will undergo a distinct and traditional aging process to ensure the deliverance of succulent steaks to the table. First-class cuts of British and Irish meat will also be on offer, together with ultra-fresh seafood and award-winning wines.
