Review on Bistro Steakhouse 800 Degrees Celsius
Bistro Steakhouse 800 Degrees Celsius is located in the south west of Palma Majorca in the coastal region of Costa de la Calma. Named after the Southbend, the only restaurant in the whole of Spain to have this type of oven which cooks meat at 800 degrees Celsius, caramelizing the outside of the meat whilst the inside remains tender and juicy. Chunky wooden tables are set against contemporary high back chairs in a modern environment, shelves are lined with bottles of wine, and there's an outside terrace for al fresco dining when the sun shines.
The menu is a carnivores delight, but there are options for fish eaters, and children have their own menu. Amongst the starters look for escargots with herbal butter and white wine au gratin or a tomato and mascarpone tart with mixed salad. When it comes to main courses there's a succulent rib-eye steak paired with roast potatoes and mixed salad, or away from the land there's fresh white asparagus with fried salmon fillet, boiled potatoes and butter. It's hard to resist their lovely selection of ice creams, or you could opt for the American cheesecake paired with fresh fruits.
To accompany the menu there's a good selection of wines, together with friendly service.
