Review on Bagatelle London
Bagatelle London is situated on fashionable Dover Street in the heart of Mayfair, part of an international group of restaurants that first opened in New York in 2008, and now has many outposts across the globe in places such as Los Angeles, St. Tropez and Dubai. Well known for attracting celebrities, the London venue occupies the former site of Quattro Passi, spread over two floors with an upstairs fine dining restaurant and a downstairs lounge and bar.
Classically trained French chef Dale Osborne leads the kitchen having worked at esteemed restaurants such as Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, Chiltern Firehouse and more recently the Aqua Shard. The very finest seasonal produce is sourced from trusted suppliers for a menu that showcases dishes like yellow fin tuna tartare with bruinoise-cut avocado, lime and soy vinaigrette and taro crisps or T-bone steak cooked over an open charcoal grill and served with hasselback potatoes, vine tomatoes and béarnaise sauce. Diners can also opt for sharing dishes such as their signature poulet entier roti à la truffe or seafood platters. When it comes to desserts you might see posset citron or profiteroles au chocolate.
The impressive wine list covers a lot of ground and the cocktail list ensures that the diverse taste of all cocktail connoisseurs will be met.
