There is no doubt that you will need a healthy bank balance before booking a table at this bustling restaurant, but it should be money well spent. Notwithstanding the lack of space around the tables, the staff are usually attentive and diligent and most of the dishes are beautifully cooked such as the Calf's Liver Veneziana which melts in the mouth, or the squid ink pasta.
It's not yet another Ramsay, Le Gavroche or River Cafe but with continued effort, C London, formerly known as Cipriani should enter the upper echelons of the capital's eateries and reach their goal of becoming one of London's finest restaurants.
