Review on Le Vin qui Danse
The Vin Qui Danse meaning Dancing Wine is a charming restaurant and wine bar situated between the Panthéon and the Luxembourg Gardens. The sister restaurant Le Vin qui Chante located in the Opera district of Paris is another very popular venue in the city. The cosy dining room has plain wooden tables and chairs with red banquettes lining the walls and a wonderful fresco adorning the ceiling.
The kitchen uses the very best of seasonal ingredients, to produce a traditional French menu with a few inventive touches here and there. There are some good value set priced menus and one where the sommelier has chosen the wine to match each course.
There are over 100 wines to choose from, many by the glass plus there is a wonderful 17th century vaulted wine cellar where wine tastings and private parties are held.
