Review on Simply Thai

Simply Thai originally opened as a café in nearby Hampton Wick, and Patria Weerapan's neighbourhood Thai restaurant has been firmly bedded in Teddington since 2004. The interior has been designed with a cool, clean, contemporary look that lends a fresh feel to proceedings.

The menu changes regularly and features staples of the cuisine alongside less familiar specialities and regional dishes. Alongside Thai fishcakes, tom yum soup and green jungle curry, you will also find a version of 'larb' salad made with salmon, cod dumplings sautéed in herbs, chillies and light soy sauce, and 'gang lang lay' (pork ribs braised in Burmese spices with pickled ginger, bamboo and tamarind sauce). Desserts include a locally renowned coconut crème brûlée, as well as mango pudding.
