Built in the early years of the twentieth century by renowned Scottish architect Sir Robert Lorimer, The Royal Marine Hotel and Lorimer's Restaurant now sits within easy reach of the nearby golf course and sandy beach. It offers all manner of facilities, including a leisure club, swimming pool and spa for everyone to enjoy.

There are three dining options at the Royal Marine, with pride of place occupied by Lorimer's Restaurant. The kitchen makes good use of Scottish produce for an accessible menu that might offer Cullen skink, char-grilled fillet of Loch Duart salmon with roast aubergine and chilli butter, collops of Aberdeen Angus beef with crisp haggis cake and whisky sauce, or Med-influenced breast of pheasant wrapped in pancetta with Umbrian lentil broth.
