The Wintergarten Restaurant is one of three restaurants in the historic Hotel Bad Bubendorf 20 km from Basel. The kitchen serves not only classic dishes, but also contemporary and extraordinary creations of both Swiss and international cuisine. The head chef places great value on offering seasonal dishes and, as such, changes the menu numerous times throughout the year. With something to match every season, you will find delicacies on the menu such as, herb risotto with "chicorino rosso", steamed vegetables and finely chopped onions, pike perch fillet from the grill, with home baked sea salted vegetables and Violetta potatoes in a light wasabi sauce, or bacon entrecote from the grill with a tomato and parmesan coating with summer vegetables. The veal and beef served in the Wintergarten restaurant is sourced from local farms of the Emmental region, or from the Basel area. Vegetarian dishes are clearly marked on the menu, and for wine connoisseurs, there is the possibility to savour a quality wine in the open bar.
