Review on Number 10
Paul and Sarah Minett's cosy Victorian town house feels just like home, with its charming décor and friendly atmosphere away from the bustle of the town.
It's a place that knows its local produce, buying in excellent supplies of beef, lamb, cheese, sausages and much more for regularly changing menus that have a touch of class.
To start there might be a trio of salmon consisting of smoked salmon, beetroot infused fresh salmon and a smoked salmon mousse layer served with a basil dressing, before slow braised lamb rump on minted mash, swede cubes and braising juices. Desserts could range from a glazed lemon tart with cherry brandy cherries to apple and cinnamon rice pudding with vanilla ice cream.
