The Shaw Hill Hotel is an imposing, three floor Georgian country house cradled within a magnificent rural setting with its own 18-hole golf course. The interior retains the mansion's period character and the award-winning restaurant, Vardon's, is tastefully decorated and commands impressive views over the golf course.

Chef Patrick Rodgers combines the finest local produce with a blend of continental influences: traditional English dishes may feature on the menu alongside dishes that incline towards Provence, Italy and further afield for inspiration. The Table d'Hote Dinner and Sunday Lunch menus are particularly good value for money.
