Review on Wild Duck Inn

The Wild Duck has a very warm and welcoming deep red dining room with a wealth of old beams and portraits - a true reflection of a country dining room.

They produce excellent fare using as much local produce as we can. The meat comes from Michael Hart Family Butchers in Cricklade, who supply only with the best. The fish comes overnight from Brixham, ensuring it is almost as fresh as when first caught.

    Wild Duck out!

    We stayed at the Wild Duck last weekend and found that the location was lovely, the 16th century features were beautiful, our room was very nice, the food was great but hampered with a group of French students from the Ag College who were very loud, did not make for a romantic evening. Also the staff were not very friendly and the owner did not even enter into conversation, on the whole good but because of the 'bit above themselves' attitude we will not be returning.
