Review on Restaurant Bellevue
The restaurant Bellevue in the Landhotel, Dresden, with its sun terrace, offers not only typical Saxon cuisine and specialities from the local Erzgebirge region, but a great variety of ever changing international dishes. Whether you choose one of the specialities of the restaurant, or something from the regularly changing menu, you will be able to find something to suit everyone's taste, and no wish will be left unanswered. There are light snacks such as roulade of brook trout, and pike perch in a lobster, honey, dill sauce with black noodles and almond flavoured broccoli – garnished with 'New Zealand' green shelled muscles, delicacies such as Creppinette (small flat spicy sausage made from rabbit ), covered in a pistachio and herb mix, in Madeira truffle sauce, with romanesco and sweet potato gratin, or a classic dish such as Saxon Sauerbraten (roasted pickled beef) made from fillet offcuts in a rosemary sauce, with apple and red cabbage and potato dumplings. On the wine menu you will definitely find a bottle to take your fancy to round up the enjoyment of the meal. In the summer months you can sit back and relax on the terrace of the GreenLine Hotel whilst enjoying the wonderful view over the Elb-Florenz, and enjoy the Tafelberge (Mesas Mountains) of the Elbe sand stone mountain-range. You can also take a trip to the nearby town of Dresden which has a wealth of attractions worth visiting.
