Review on Restaurante Tąpies
The Hotel de Castell de Ciutat and its restaurant, Tįpies, occupy a privileged spot close to the border with Andorra in the province of Lérida. The cuisine is predominantly based on ingredients from around the Mediterranean basin although the majority of dishes include local produce such as wild mushrooms from the Pyrenees or local meat. The elegant and modern restaurant also has large windows with enviable views over La Seu de Urgell and the Pyrenees. Wine lovers can choose from more than 700 wines and there is also a tasting menu with dishes such as roast pigeon or black ravioli.
