A family-owned hotel for the last two decades, Frederick's is a renowned luxurious haven situated in Maidenhead. The resplendence of the hotel permeates through to its equally luxurious restaurant, the deserving recipient of the highly coveted AA 3 Rosettes for its culinary flair. For such outstanding cuisine and service, the prices are understandably high but for such a dining experience that transcends the norm, this is money well spent.
The expensive wine list reads like an oenophile's paradise: the connoisseur will not be disappointed, though his wallet will be substantially lighter. A rare occurrence in upmarket restaurants, there is even a local English wine available. Samples from the a la carte menu to whet the appetite include carpaccio of tuna and langoustine in potato spaghetti with sesame seed dressing followed by Grenadin of veal with fresh morels and linguini.
Frederick's also makes a perfect venue for special occasions and offers menus for Christmas, banquets and weddings.
