Review on Nuvolari's
In January of 1982 after establishing Jacmel Inn, a fine dining restaurant, and Brady's Grill and Bar in Hammond, Hoot Owl owners Paul Murphy and Rick Colucci along with Mandeville native Wallace Simmons took over the lease of the former Prieto Dry Goods store on Girod street in Mandeville. Paul, Rick and Wallace completely remodeled the interior on their own with a vision to bring a classical New York style dining room to the quiet North Shore town. The extensive remodeling was an example of keeping the unique New Orleans style structure outside intact while creating a rich restaurant experience inside.
Upon entering the foyer of Nuvolari's, you can tell that a unique restaurant lies before you. Rich hues of wood and soft lighting create an aura of sophistication that relaxes patrons and prepares them for a wonderful dining experience.
This one of a kind architecture, consistently superb cuisine and wonderful staff make Nuvolari's a true dining experience!
