This historic Grade-II listed building has the benefit of a prime spot on East Lothian's renowned championship golf course, looking out over the Firth of Forth. Following extensive refurbishment and renovation, it has been returned to its former glory and grandeur as a landmark Scottish hotel.
Formal meals are served in The Craigleith Restaurant with the kitchen working to a European repertoire, making excellent use of first-class local and seasonal produce. Kick off with their signature starter of crispy Stornoway black pudding, poached free-range hen's egg, chive hollandaise gratin, before a main course of outdoor reared pork belly served with sautéed pak choi, crispy potatoes and orange sauce. Round things off with a warm vanilla rice pudding paired with caramelised banana or iced rhubarb parfait, sesame tuille, poached rhubarb and raspberry sorbet.
