Review on Petit Paris Restaurant
In the centre of Nottingham lies a little bit of Paris. This amenable Gallic restaurant is now an institution on the Kings Walk, and the locals keep on coming back for more, each time seduced by the authentic cuisine and equally authentic ambience. It offers everything you would expect from a top-quality Parisian eatery, from the attentive yet unobtrusive service to the unwavering quality of its food.
A classic repertoire that includes favourites such as mussels in various guises, coq au vin, char-grilled rump steak with frites and and lemon tart is executed with panache and with exquisite presentation. Kick off with tarte provençale, move on to herb-crusted rump of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes and rosemary jus, and round things off with profiteroles filled with pistachio ice cream. The kitchen also ventures towards Med for pasta dishes, pan-roast duck breast on creamed polenta, and vanilla pannacotta.
