This Orleans mainstay continues to offer cuisine awarded a rating of 'excellent' by the Zagat guide, offering up a menu of eclectic global dishes with a touch of Cape Cod presented in an inviting dining room with a casual elegance. Additional seating is available seasonally on the breezy patio. Eclectic definitely describes the menu where homemade seafood eggrolls meet salmon gravlax with potato pancakes, local littlenecks sauteed with bacon, white wine, butter and parmesan cheese, among the many appetizers offered. Customer favorites include Grilled Swordfish topped with a basil-parmesan glaze; Veal Saltimbocca and Sole Francaise. It had seemed the idea of the classic leisurely brunch, lazy Sundays lingering over Eggs or Crab Cakes Benedict and Bloody Mary's, were a thing of the past, but Academy Ocean Grille keeps the classics going with a brunch menu of Kahlua Stuffed French Toast and a Crab Omelet.
