Review on Cricket Inn
The Cricket Inn is a popular South West Sheffield pub situated amongst the fields on Penny Lane in Totley, a short distance from the A621. In 2010 it was voted one of the top 50 gastro pubs in the the UK and over the years has received a number of accolades.
On the food front, the kitchen sources locally where possible, meat is supplied by a master butcher whose commitment is to find great products from award winning farms and there is a blackboard featuring the catch of the day, together with all the usual pub classics as well as vegetarian options. Children are made welcome and have their own menu. There is an extensive wine list to suit all tastes and budgets and a good selection of Thornbridge Cask ales are always available.
