The La Caravella restaurant is housed in the Hotel Saturnia a family-run venture located just 200 metres from St Mark's Square. The restaurant is cosy and welcoming with dark wood fittings recreating the interior of an ancient sailing ship, or when the weather is warm you can dine in their flower-filled Venetian courtyard with original wells.

The restaurant works to a traditional Venetian and international cuisine where you might order one of the specialities of the house such as classic "saor", the marinated sweet-and-sour sardines with onions, pine kernels and raisins or oven-roasted turbot with potatoes and olives. There is an excellent wine list to complement the food with offerings from small independent wine growers.
