Review on Anokhi Cuisine
'Anokhi' translates as 'unique' – a bold claim that this well-established neighbourhood Indian restaurant tries to uphold.
The long menu is a familiar run through baltis, tandooris, korai dishes, biryanis and curry house stalwarts, plus a few more intriguing specialities including breast of chicken rolled with minced lamb and served with a mushroom sauce, roopchanda (a large fried Bangladeshi fish served with fried rice and tarka dhal), king prawn shorisha cooked with mustard seeds, and duck bhuna. There's a decent choice for vegetarians, too.
