Review on Brasserie Lipp
Brasserie Lipp in the centre of Zurich, just off Hauptbanhoffstrasse, typifies the style of an authentic Parisian Brasserie with its aura of La Belle Epoque. This large busy restaurant can accommodate 200 people indoors and a further 40 outdoors.
The restaurant is renowned for its excellent mussels and oysters, but meat lovers are not forgotten either, and among the large selection of French dishes on offer you will find oven-roasted lamb steak with porto jus, tagliatelle and ratatouille, as well as Irish sirloin of beef. You can also order the dishes as takeaways, including the opened and ice-cooled oysters. French culture resonates on the wine list too, with a good selection of wines by the glass.
Above the Brasserie is the Junes Verne Panorama Bar with wonderful rooftop views over Zurich, it is the perfect place to come for lunch, an aperitif or a glass of wine.
