Review on Haus Hiltl
Haus Hiltl is one of Switzerland's oldest vegetarian restaurants, this establishment was opened in 1898 by the Hiltl family and still bears their name even today. The cavernous restaurant has been renovated since then, and is modern with beautiful sparkling chandeliers and well laid tables on wood flooring.
The kitchen of some 30 chefs offer an a la carte menu as well as the popular Indian buffet which has gained citywide recognition, alongside a mammoth selection of different salads. There is a concise wine list to complement the food as well as a good selection of beers. This is a popular restaurant, due to the impeccable quality of the food, but also the original way in which the meals are prepared here. Children are well catered for and have their own menu.
